REVIEW:
This enhanced resorts proffers all the ingredients of a traditional Carribbean private island hideaway, right from the fashionable airport automobile pick-up, personal release, dockside introduction, and signing up at your enjoyment. The main beach is simply sublime—except when airplanes whoosh by. Luckily, guests serve most vagaries, from fruits sorbets to iPods. Comfort is paramount: you can bike along characteristics paths to the island's many hidden seashores (one attracts nesting turtles in season). Luxurious indoor-outdoor washrooms, bamboo bedding and marble accessories, four-poster mattresses, and hand-painted floor work incorporate modern facilities like 42-inch flat-screens, iPod docking channels, Nespresso machines, master changes, double rainfall shower heads, and Bose sound systems. The delicacies, is outstanding. Birdsong and sea wind fill up the informal Verandah cafe, which features an open kitchen with wood-burning stove. Apartment owners, such as Ken Follett, frequent the clubby 18th-century stone-and-mahogany Estate House dining area, which features a stunning French selection under new professional cook, Sardinian-born Claudio Melis.
